Our Nordic Program promotes the physical and mental health of children by providing competitive and recreational cross-country ski programs. We provide Nordic ski programs for kids of all ages (5-18), which develops an adventurous spirit and maximize personal potential. Our goal is to have fun and show respect for others!
Practices are divided into different age groups and abilities. We have a wide variety of coaches to accommodate the kids’ different levels of skills and abilities. A competitive team will travel and race in the Junior Nordic Series throughout the west. All levels of skiers are welcome!
Skiers practice equal amounts of time in classic and freestyle techniques.
We host ski practices at a variety of Nordic venues around the area, which will include but not limited to Ponderosa Park, Bear Basin, Jug Mountain Ranch and Tamarack Resort. Dry land training starts late October and is open to all participants. The ski season typically runs through mid-March.
